Magsaysay People Strengthen Disaster Resilience Through Earthquake Drill

In its bid to equip and enhance awareness and preparedness in times of disaster, particularly an earthquake, MPs (Magsaysay People) from Times Plaza Building, Manila, participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) organized by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) on September 7.

The event highlighted normal safety procedures in reducing the public and social impacts of an earthquake disaster. MPs from Global Process Manager (GPM), Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics (MSL), Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA), Magsaysay Learning Resources (MLRI), and TravelPeople practiced duck, cover, and hold, evacuating the building through proper emergency exits as per standard protocols.

Magsaysay Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSES) urges MPs to participate in the quarterly earthquake drill and other safety drills to boost their confidence, make informed decisions, and take appropriate actions in times of natural disasters.
